Springbrook
Area Structure Plan Concepts and Summary
On January 31, 2006, the Area Structure Plan for Springbrook and
Gasoline Alley was given first reading by Red Deer County Council. This
summarizes the concepts proposed for the future of Springbrook including
the development of a town centre, new business, recreation and
residential areas, roadways and trails.

The Future of
Springbrook-Waskasoo
Being centrally located in the province of Alberta and close to the City
of Red Deer and major north-south transportation corridors, Springbrook
shows great promise for residential, commercial, industrial and
institutional expansion over the next several years.

Structure Plan
Andrew Charles Mynarski
A.C. Mynarski was a World War II hero of whom Mynarski Park, the
residential area for the former CFB Penhold and now known as Springbrook,
was named after. There is now a memorial park/playground located in
Springbrook that is dedicated to his heroism in Sept. 2004.
